Well you may remember yesterday I mentioned my first attempt at a two tone wall and how I thought I liked it. As the night wore on it began to dawn on me that my bathroom resembled camo. The green was looking WAY green instead of gray/green and the geige was looking very TAN. Put them together and it looked like it was on its way hunting.
So today, I made another stop by Sherwin Williams and had them mix me up Chatroom 6171 (the grey color on top) at 50%. You can see in the picture below the difference.
It is a subtle difference, but it makes the room feel much better. It only took me about 45 minutes to re-paint, one benefit to having a small room.
I want to paint, but I'm always afraid to. I don't know how I would decide on a color.

ReplyDeleteI also tried to repaint my wall with these colors and you're right my friend, too tan doesn't look good. For me having tan as your wall paint is too warm,it feels like it's not an inviting color and it's a very common color for wall paint.
