I stumbled across Design Intervention the other day through a blog party. I was amazed at the transformation of this old rocker.
Upholstery has been one thing that I have been afraid to try, but with Design Intervention Re upholstery 101 series I might have to give it a go.

Thank you for posting this. I love DIY and have recently begun building things (thanks to Ana at Knock Off Wood) and just last night my hubby asked me if I thought about trying upholstery. It has always scared me too, but I think I'm going to have to try it now :)
ReplyDeleteThose are amazing projects. You have to give her kudos -- especially with the pieces that required her to place the pattern (damask) a certain way on the chair. It gets you in the mood to find an old relic and give it a new look!
